Everything had beginning in the middle of 2002  Brazil, when the guitarist Glauber Oliveira joined to the friend Hugo Rodrigues (v) and they founded Caravellus. To complete the line-up, they formed an alliance with the musicians Gustavo Aragão (gt), Joe de Paula (b) and Vitor Moreira (d). Still in the year of 2002, Caravellus recorded the demo-single, "Reaching the Sky". With an excellent popularization work, this demo-single yielded "good fruits" and important contacts.

In 2004, Caravellus enters in studio and it records the CD demo "Across the Oceans". This album received excellent comments in specialized magazines (as Roadie Crew, Metal Massacre) and webzines (national and international). soon afterwards they were accomplished a series of shows, beside bands as Nordheim, Hangar (of drummer Aquiles Priester, Angra), Viper etc.

In elapsing of the years, Caravellus suffered several changes in his line-up and style. A natural musical evolution, result of the search of an own identity. In the beginning, the sound is much more melodic way, but Caravellus was acquiring a series of other significant influences, with the time. Nowadays, sounding much heavier and "arranged", it can be said that Caravellus has as main influences, bands as: Symphony X, Kamelot, Rhapsody, Angra and some series of other musical styles (erudite, indie, regional and soul music).

In 2007, the album "Lighthouse and Shed " was released in Brazil, USA, Japan and any european countries (Italy, Belgium, Holland and Greece) by Erpland Records.

Nowadays, Caravellus with reformulated line-up is composed by:

Raphael Dantas - Voice

Glauber Oliveira - Guitar

Daniel Felix - Keyboards

Cleison Johann - Bass

Pedro Nunes - Drums
